CHESS EVOLUTION

THE NATURE OF

“The best chess masters of every epoch have been closely linked with the values of the society in which they lived and worked. All the changes of a cultural , political and psychological background are reflected in the style and ideas of their play”
                                          — Garry Kasparov

THE GAME CHANGES

When Kasparov speaks about Chess, it is wise to listen. His hypothesis that the form of Chess itself could evolve to reflect changes of the cultural, political and psychological background formed the working hypothesis for the creation of Quaternity.

Quaternity takes all the positives of classical Chess, with its global presence of nearly a billion players, and adds new dimensions reflecting the new interconnected, fast-moving globalized world we all live in.

Quaternity is a social game. Teams can play and this generates intense, passionate and loyal interaction between players and watchers - something not experienced in traditional Chess.

Quaternity is easy to learn and play yet fiendishly complex enough to occupy, entertain and satisfy the most demanding of us.
